FractalNation Village will provide a dynamic, full-sensory, art, music and performance destination with daytime and nighttime programming on our outdoor bamboo stage designed by Bamboo DNA, featuring some of the Playa’s most renown DJs, VJs, and performance troupes, and inside our 60′ community chill zone dome by the Yum Sauce Lounge will be a visionary art gallery by Tribe 13 with art and design from the many artists that are part of the Envisionary Art Collective.
Inside our 2 30′ Domes will be Live Painting and projections, including the Android Jones Live Painting Art Car. Envisionary, the main camp, will welcome Burners through an interdimensional Gateway Portal and Fractal Flower Tower, designed by Carey Thompson, and they will roam though a bamboo forest designed by Nils Volkmer Hammerbeck. Additional installations by Luminature, Photonic Bliss, and Garuda Bamboo.
Our two massive art cars — the Lady Sassafrass riverboat, and the Abraxas Dragamuffin — are two of the most recognized on the Playa.
Our most mind-bending installation will be the Kaleidoscope, straight from the Boom Festival, making its North American debut. The Kaleidoscope has to be seen to be believed. It is a full sensory immersive experience, as if one was sucked inside a kaleidoscope, and turned into a swirling prismatic, explosion of light and color. Next to the Kaleidoscope will be the 60′ high DoLab observation tower.
Lastly, FractalNation is proud to bring to the Playa for the very first time the producers of the Boom Festival. Through a unique partnership with Dustworks, FractalNation Village will be powered by a mix of sustainable technologies including wind, solar, and biodiesel.
